All General Admission Seats for 2009 Season On Sale Now

Although the 2008 racing season at Richmond International Raceway has come to a close, there is still plenty of action in the ticket office at America’s Premier Short Track. General admission seats for the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series, IndyCar Series and USAC races at Richmond International Raceway are on sale now.
The 2009 racing season at Richmond International Raceway kicks off on Friday, May 1, when the NASCAR Nationwide Series returns for the Lipton Tea 250 race. Earlier this season,
Our open-wheel weekend hits the pavement at Richmond International Raceway Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27. Friday’s events feature practice and Pole Qualifying for the IndyCar Series, practice and Pole Qualifying for the USAC Silver Crown Series and USAC National Sprint Car Series, as well as the USAC National Sprint Car Series race “under the lights.” Friday’s tickets are $15 and include an autograph session with all of the IndyCar Series drivers. The final race weekend of 2009 hits the track on Friday, September 11, when NASCAR returns for another doubleheader weekend at Richmond International Raceway. Friday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race will feature all of the up and coming young guns, series veterans, as well as some Sprint Cup Series drivers all mixing it up on the ¾-mile oval for a night of old school, short track action. General admission seats are $35. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections only.
All remaining tickets for the Crown Royal Presents The Your Name Here 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, which is set, for May 2, 2009, will go on sale Saturday, December 6.
