Kenseth, Harvick, Edwards and Logano Highlight Saturday Appearances

 in Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Party Zone is open on Friday, May 1 from 2 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. prior to the Lipton Tea 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race, and the Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone is staged on Saturday, May 2 from 2 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. before the Crown Royal Presents The Russ Friedman 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

 

The line-up of appearances in Saturday’s Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone is stacked with Sprint Cup Series stars, including Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano. Kenseth is a former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion and won this year’s Daytona 500 in February, while Harvick was the 2007 Daytona 500 winner and a two-time Nationwide Series champion. Edwards is also a former Nationwide Series champion and won more Sprint Cup Series races than anyone in 2008 with a series-best nine victories. All three drivers, along with Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender Logano, will participate in question-and-answer sessions with fans. The Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone also includes appearances by driver and television personality Hermie Sadler, the namesake of the race Russ Friedman and track president Doug Fritz.

 

Admission to Saturday’s Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone, an exclusive and all-inclusive VIP experience, includes:

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone is available for $90 only to ticket holders for the Crown Royal Presents The Russ Friedman 400. Fans must have a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race ticket to purchase the Scotts Miracle-Gro Green Flag Zone package.

 

On Friday, NASCAR Nationwide Series driver and popular television personality Kenny Wallace will appear in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Party Zone, along with fellow Nationwide Series drivers Scott Wimmer and Erik Darnell, SPEED TV personalities Wendy Venturini and Hermie Sadler and track president Doug Fritz.

 

Admission to Friday’s Scotts Miracle-Gro Party Zone, also an exclusive and all-inclusive VIP experience, includes:

 

  • Exclusive pre-race pit pass, for guests 18-and-older, to see NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice from pit road (weather permitting).

Fans must have a NASCAR Nationwide Series race ticket to purchase the Scotts Miracle-Gro Party Zone package. Additionally, fans must be 18 years of age or older to take advantage of Friday’s pre-race pit pass. Friday’s required dress code for pit admission: long pants only, no sleeveless shirts and no open-toe shoes.

 

No alcohol or coolers are permitted in pits on either Friday or Saturday. Times for pit road access on both Friday and Saturday are tentative and subject to change.

The weekend starts with practice and Wawa Pole Qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, as well as practice and pole qualifying for the NASCAR Nationwide Series, followed by the Lipton Tea 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race.
