All NASCAR Nationwide Series Drivers Eligible to Enter One-of-a-Kind Challenge
Vote for your favorite flavor combination from the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver entries.
The polls are officially open for the Signature BUBBA burger® Contest—a unique challenge open to all NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite BUBBA burger® creation at http://www.rir.com/Vanity-Pages/Signature-Burger.aspx . The winning driver wins a BUBBA burger® lunch for his entire team and will be recognized during pre-race ceremonies prior to the BUBBA burger 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway on Friday night, April 30.
All NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers are invited to enter the contest by submitting their Signature BUBBA burger® creations to Richmond International Raceway. Contestants are asked to select their choice of BUBBA burger®, which includes: the Original, Reduced Fat, Certified Angus, Sweet Onion, Jalapeno, the Minis (BUBBA burger® sliders) and the brand new Turkey BUBBA burger®. Next, entrants choose any type of topping to create their “Signature BUBBA burger®.” Whether it’s the traditional ketchup and mustard or something unique like…peanut butter and pickles or grape jelly and scrambled eggs; combinations are only limited by the participants’ imaginations.
Here is a sample of the entries received thus far:
· Turkey BUBBA burger® topped with Celebrity Hot dog, potato chips, Celebrity homemade chili, two crumbled peanut butter cups, thick cheddar cheese on a wheat bun (Coleman Pressley)
· Two Original BUBBA burgers®, Swiss cheese, A-1 steak sauce, crushed saltines on a thin wheat bun (Justin Allgaier)
· "The Cheese's BUBBA burger": Certified Angus BUBBA burger®, Swiss, American and cheddar cheese, bacon, mayonnaise, ketchup (Trevor Bayne)
All of the entries can be seen at http://www.rir.com/Vanity-Pages/Signature-Burger.aspx and new creations will be added as they are received. Voting ends Monday, April 26. The top five vote-getters will be invited to participate in a final “Signature BUBBA burger®” Challenge at Richmond International Raceway on April 30. The burgers will be showcased for a panel of judges to taste and to determine the winner.
