Miller Lite, Loveland Distributing and Richmond International Raceway Announce New Promotional Partnership
Former NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace Returns to Victory Lane at Richmond

Rusty Wallace returned to Gatorade Victory Lane at Richmond International Raceway (Photos), a spot the former NASCAR champion knows well, and helped announce a new promotional partnership between Miller Lite and America’s Premier Short Track.
Wallace, a six-time winner at Richmond and former driver of the iconic Miller Lite #2 car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and representatives from Loveland Distributing, a local distributor of Miller Lite, and MillerCoors announced the partnership with a Victory Lane celebration Tuesday afternoon and launched the Miller Lite Richmond Race Experience Sweepstakes.
“We’re excited to welcome Loveland Distributing and Miller Lite back to Richmond International Raceway as promotional partners,” said track president Doug Fritz. “There is a long history between these two great brands, Miller Lite and Richmond International Raceway, and we look forward to continuing and building on the relationship.”
The Miller Lite Richmond Race Experience is a regional promotion aimed at awarding local fans an ultimate experience for the September 11th “One Last Race To Make The Chase” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway. Ten grand-prize winners will receive six tickets to “One Last Race To Make The Chase,” six admissions to the Miller Lite Tailgate and six Miller Lite hospitality passes for Saturday, September 11th.
To enter the Miller Lite Richmond Race Experience sweepstakes, fans 21 years of age, or older must follow the entry instructions, which can be found at select Miller Lite retail locations throughout the Richmond region. Participants must be from the Richmond area and will have two ways to enter, via the official entry instructions at the Miller Lite retail location, through text messaging or standard U.S. mail.

The drawing for the 10 grand prize winners will take place during the first week of September.
NASCAR returns to Richmond International Raceway September 10-11 for one of the most anticipated race weekends of the season, highlighted by the Saturday, September 11, “One Last Race to Make The Chase” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race “under the lights.” This race is the final event before the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Once the checkered flag drops, the field will be set for the 2010 championship. The weekend begins on Friday, September 10, with a full day of on-track activity, highlighted by the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race “under the lights.” Friday’s ticket includes Fas Mart Pole Qualifying and practice for the Sprint Cup Series, as well as WRIC-TV8 Pole Qualifying and practice for the Nationwide Series. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections on Friday only.
