Richmond International Raceway Launches RIRUPDATES Texting Service for Fans
Texting Service, Mobile Site to Keep Fans Informed on Race Weekend
Combined with the new mobile version of the track’s web site, the texting service and mobile website will keep fans up to date with important race weekend information on the way to, or at, the track.
“We’re constantly listening to what our guests want,” said track president Doug Fritz. “Fans want up-to-the-minute information, and this texting service, along with our mobile website, gives us another method to effectively communicate with our fans on race weekend.”
By simply texting “RIRUPDATES” to 69050, fans at Richmond International Raceway can choose to receive informative race weekend updates via SMS text messages right on their phone. After texting ”RIRUPDATES” to 69050, fans will receive a standard reply message confirming they are signed up for the service. Standard text message fees from your service provider apply.
The mobile version of Richmond International Raceway’s website is another fan enhancement aimed at keeping fans informed and ensuring a great guest experience. The mobile website features important information available before, during and after race weekends, including ticket information, gate policies, race day activities, driver appearances, news and more.
The mobile website is accessible from all smart phones and is ready for Richmond International Raceway’s September 10-11 Post-9/11 GI Bill NASCAR Race Weekend at Richmond.
