The Classic Amphitheater at Richmond International Raceway show will feature Little Big Town
Richmond International Raceway and Whisper Concerts, Inc. announced today the K95 CountryFest at Richmond International Raceway on Friday, June 14. This show marks the resurgence of The Classic Amphitheater at Richmond International Raceway and will feature Little Big Town, a group famous for their trademark four-part harmonies, as the headline performance. Holly Williams and Charlie Worsham will open for the critically acclaimed platinum-selling group, with Holly taking the stage at 7 p.m.
“The Classic Amphitheater at RIR was ‘the place to be’ several years ago and we’re looking forward to revitalizing the facility and making it a destination once again for some of the top touring acts on the road today and into the future,” said Dennis Bickmeier, president of Richmond International Raceway. “Working with Whisper Concerts Inc. and K95 to bring Little Big Town to the Richmond area is a great first step in getting this venue back on the map. From our NASCAR events to consumer trade shows, festivals and now this concert, RIR is proud of its legacy in delivering quality events to the Richmond region.”
Advance tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 16, through Ticketmaster. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets through Ticketmaster. All tickets are general admission and start at $30. The box office at The Classic Amphitheater at Richmond International Raceway will open at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 14 for Will Call. The Commonwealth Mall at The Classic Amphitheater at RIR, featuring concessions, displays and merchandise will also open at 4 p.m. the day of the event, with the Amphitheater gates opening at 6 p.m.
Parking for the event is located in Lot D, at the corner of Laburnum and Carolina Avenues, and can be accessed through Gate 4 on Laburnum Avenue. There is a cash-only $5 fee per vehicle, for concert parking.
