Colt Ford to Open; Tickets Go on Sale This Friday, May 10
Florida Georgia Line & Colt Ford will kick things up at The Classic Amphitheater at RIR on August 29
One of country music’s hottest new acts, Florida Georgia Line, is coming to The Classic Amphitheater at Richmond International Raceway Thursday, August 29, with Colt Ford set to open the 7:00 p.m. show, co-promoted by RIR and Whisper Concerts, Inc.
Advance tickets ($24.75-$34.75) go on sale this Friday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m., and can be purchased through Ticketmaster by clicking here.
The Florida Georgia Line duo is comprised of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, whose single, “Cruise,” hit #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Country chart and reached the Hot 100 top 10. To date, “Cruise” has sold well over one million copies and helped secure them a spot on Luke Bryan’s Dirt Road Diaries Tour this year. Their first studio album, Here’s to the Good Times, was released December 4, 2012.
Colt Ford opens the show for Florida Georgia Line. Ford has charted six times on the Hot Country Songs charts, and co-wrote Brantley Gilbert's 2011 single "Dirt Road Anthem."
The box office at The Classic Amphitheater at Richmond International Raceway will open at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, for Will Call. The Commonwealth Mall at The Classic Amphitheater at RIR, featuring concessions, displays and merchandise will open at 5 p.m. the day of the event, with the Amphitheater gates also opening at 5 p.m.
Parking for the event is located in Lot D, at the corner of Laburnum and Carolina Avenues, and can be accessed through Gate 4 on Laburnum Avenue. There is a cash-only $5 fee per vehicle, for concert parking.
This marks the second concert of 2013 at The Classic Amphitheater at Richmond International Raceway. K95 CountryFest, featuring Little Big Town, Holly Williams and Charlie Worsham is set for Friday, June 14. Tickets, which start at $30, can be purchased online through Ticketmaster by clicking here.
