Kasey Kahne and Hermie Sadler Join Fans in Paintball Battle for Charity


NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Kasey Kahne swapped his driver’s suit and helmet yesterday for a custom-made blue camouflage jersey, protective face mask and a high-tech paintball gun and joined SPEED TV and NASCAR personality Hermie Sadler, Richmond International Raceway president Doug Fritz and fans in a paintball battle for charity.

    Out With the Old and In With the New: Scoring Pylon Being Removed to Make Room for New Video Scoring Tower

    Richmond International Raceway’s infield is enduring a demolition. But, not to worry, this is a planned removal of the old scoring pylon to make way for the new video scoring tower at America’s Premier Short Track. Track president Doug Fritz today helped construction crews remove panels from the old scoring pylon, marking another milestone in the track’s offseason fan-friendly improvement mission.

    Richmond International Raceway Teams Up With Henrico County Police Athletic League for NASCAR Day 2010

    Richmond International Raceway teams up with the Henrico County Police Athletic League (PAL) to sell NASCAR Day pins for the seventh annual NASCAR Day on May 21. Pins are now available for purchase at Richmond International Raceway’s ticket office, located at 600 E. Laburnum Ave. Additionally, pins will be sold on the midway during the upcoming NASCAR doubleheader weekend at America’s Premier Short Track, April 30-May 1. Half of the proceeds generated from pin sales at the track will benefit Henrico County PAL, with the other half benefiting The NASCAR Foundation.
