When you purchase tickets, make sure you bring your tickets with you on race weekend. If you selected home delivery when you purchased your tickets, you should receive your tickets in the mail prior to race weekend. If you haven't received your race tickets, please call 866-455-RACE(7223). If you chose Print at Home for your method of delivery, make sure to print out your tickets and bring them with you. What to Bring
What to bring
Fans can bring their own food and beverages into the grandstands at Richmond International Raceway, so pack a cooler with your favorite drinks and snacks. Just remember, coolers must be soft-sided and can only measure up to 14 x 14 x 14 inches. Coolers with telescoping handles and wheels will not be permitted. Fans may also utilize one lightweight backpack or day bag to bring in approved items. Each fan is allowed to carry in one cooler and one bag. Some additional helpful items to bring include:

Richmond International Raceway is a large facility. Fans should dress casually and comfortably, including wearing shoes that allow for walking. Fans may enter and exit the grandstand gates throughout the day, but you should also remember it will take longer to enter the gates closer to the race start time. Richmond International Raceway is conveniently located in Henrico County, just outside the city of Richmond, and is easily accessible from Interstates 95, 295 and 64. Click here for race day directions and an area traffic map.
Parking in all of our lots is FREE ! The lots open at 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday of race weekend and free, continuous tram service from Lots H and Blue Ox Meadowbridge Unreserved RV Parking Lot J begins at 9 a.m. Be sure to note where you parked as you walk towards the track or tram pick-up locations.
Remember, Richmond International Raceway is a large facility and over 100,000 fans, workers and race team members will be in the area on Saturday. Traffic and congestion around the track will continually build throughout the day, so plan to arrive early and spend the day with us, tailgate, visit the souvenir trailers and free displays in the Midway, stop by the Miller Lite Party Zone in the Amphitheater Hill, find your seats and get to know the layout of America’s Premier Short Track.
Richmond International Raceway also offers free shuttle service from The Richmond Coliseum. The Richmond Coliseum is located at North 7th Street in downtown Richmond (near intersection of Interstates 64 and 95) and parking is $6 per car. The shuttle service to and from the track is free. We encourage fans to arrive early, park in our free lots and spend the extra time tailgating. Richmond International Raceway is home to one of the best tailgating scenes in NASCAR, so get here early, set up the tent, tables and chairs, fire up the grill, get out the coolers and have fun. Tailgating is limited to the area directly in front of, or behind, your vehicle and cannot take up other parking spaces. Also, outdoor fire pits and campfires are not allowed. Get up close and personal with the track you love at Track Takeover, prior to the April 26, 2014 TOYOTA OWNERS 400. Every ticket holder can access the track from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. to walk around the track, sign the start/finish line, enjoy NASCAR driver Q&As, and take photos to share on social media using #TrackTakeover. Miller Lite Party Zone
Don’t want to plan your own tailgate? Head over to the Miller Lite Party Zone near the Virginia Is For Lovers Frontstretch Gate and enjoy live music, tailgate games, great tasting Miller Lite and tons of fun.
The Midway is conveniently located behind the frontstretch grandstands and features driver and Richmond International Raceway souvenir trailers, food and beverage vendors and free interactive displays, games and giveaways, music and much more. Click here for a concessions map, detailing all of the food options and locations at the track. The Sprint Experience are also located in the Midway, as well as a the RIR LOVEwork, Toyota PitPass & Drive Center, Car Corral, RIR Trackside Tavern and VIBE – a local business exhibition. Virginia529 Kids Zone includes educational games, displays, and children’s activities. Parents can also sign their kids up for the RIR Kids Club in the midway.

RIRUPDATES Texting Service
To keep fans informed on race weekend, Richmond International Raceway also offers the RIRUPDATES texting service. By texting “RIRUPDATES” to 69050, fans can choose to receive informative race weekend updates via SMS text messages on their phone. After texting ”RIRUPDATES” to 69050, fans will receive a standard reply message confirming they are signed up for the service. Standard text message fees from your service provider apply.

Richmond International Raceway is known for its entertaining and patriotic pre-race festivities, which usually get underway 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the race. Be sure to get to your seats early for the pre-race show, driver introductions and the command to start the engines. You don’t want to miss that!

Rent a FanVision Controller
The Fan Vision controller is the ultimate race companion providing exclusive at-track hand-held access to live broadcast feeds, eight on-board cameras, official timing, data statistics, and the ability to follow specific drivers, instant replays and a digital radio scanner. The Fan Vision broadcasts high-definition video on a 4.3-inch screen.The Fan Vision can be rented for one day for $26.99 in advance online here or $39.99 on site. Rent a Scanner
A scanner is a good way to stay up to speed with the action on the track at the same time. Scanners are available to purchase at many electronic stores prior to race weekend and are available to rent at Racing Electronics (R.E.) trailers on race weekend. Stop by a Racing Electronics trailer in the Midway to have your scanner tuned or ask about weekend rentals.
Rent a Cushioned Seat
IMG Seating is now offering fans the opportunity to rent a cushioned seat for your seat location. The three-inch padded cushion and back support will be pre-installed at your reserved seat location prior to your arrival. Seat rental is $8 per day. Seat rentals may be reserved in advance online here or by calling our ticket office at 866-455-7223. For fans who wish to sit in general admission seating areas for Friday's NASCAR Nationwide Series events, seat rental must be picked up at any customer service location on-site with a photo ID. Service is not available in the Commonwealth Tower Grandstand.

Pick a Driver
If you don’t already have a favorite driver, pick one prior to the race and follow that driver during the course of the race. You can view the updated NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings and interactive bios for each driver on our Chase page.
No Smoking in the Grandstands
Smoking is prohibited in the grandstands, in front of the grandstands and in the portals leading to the seating areas. Smoking is allowed underneath the grandstands, in designated areas of the Commonwealth Mezzanine, all parking lots, the Midway, the campgrounds and outdoor areas of fan hospitality.
If you need assistance while in the grandstands, ushers are available to help. Ushers wear bright green vests and are stationed in each section of the grandstands.

Watch Gatorade Victory Lane and Press Conferences Live
At the end of the race Saturday night, we invite you to stick around and watch the celebration in Gatorade Victory Lane and post-race media press conferences live on our video scoring tower.
Once again, remember Richmond International Raceway is a very large facility and exiting the parking lots will take time. We consistently work with local law enforcement agencies and traffic controllers to get our fans out of the parking lots as safely and as efficiently as we can. Please be patient and courteous to your fellow fans upon exiting.
