Have you ever wanted to walk the historic pavement on which some of the most legendary NASCAR drivers have raced? Well, now is your chance, because Richmond International Raceway will be hosting The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk Presented by Kroger, in partnership with The Petty Family Foundation and Richmond International Raceway CARES, benefiting Paralyzed Veterans of America and The NASCAR Foundation on Saturday, September 12, prior to the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at America’s Premier Short Track.

    "Road to Richmond" Motors in to Michigan International Speedway

    With Michigan International Speedway this weekend’s stop on the “Road to Richmond,” it would appear—on paper—that this is a chance for the Roush Fenway drivers to climb in the standings. Jack Roush’s stable of drivers has enjoyed plenty of success at Michigan, and several of his drivers will need to finish strong before coming to Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 12 for the Chevy Rock & Roll 400—“One Last Race to Make the Chase.”

Waltrip will participate in a question and answer session for all guests in the fan hospitality area.

    The "Road to Richmond" Twists and Turns Through Watkins Glen International

    After some movement among the top 12 drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings, the Race to The Chase shifts from the “Tricky Triangle” of Pocono to the 11-turn road course at Watkins Glen International. Following this weekend’s event, there will only be three races remaining before the “Race to The Chase” culminates at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, September 12 at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400—“One Last Race to Make The Chase.”

    Richmond International Raceway Hosts Ninth Annual Neighborhood Picnic

    Richmond International Raceway hosted its Ninth Annual Neighborhood Picnic, in conjunction with National Night Out Against Crime last night. The track welcomed more than 400 of its neighbors, treating them to food, beverages, music, games, prizes and pace car rides around the ¾-mile oval at Richmond International Raceway.
