The holiday season has officially begun at Richmond International Raceway, after the track hosted its Sixth Annual Community Tree Lighting last night. The event was attended by hundreds in the community who joined together for a night of holiday cheer to kick off this special season.

David Ragan, UPS and Richmond International Raceway Team Up to Deliver School Supplies for Local Students

In the iconic brown UPS truck, NASCAR driver David Ragan made a special delivery this afternoon in Henrico County, dropping off a truckload of school supplies to Douglas Wilder Middle School. Ragan, UPS and Richmond International Raceway teamed up to participate in the Henrico Education Foundation Schools Supplies Challenge to help local students get ready for the upcoming school year.

Richmond International Raceway Teams Up With Junior Achievement for NASCAR Day

Richmond International Raceway will serve as a prime location for fans wishing to purchase NASCAR Day pins for the sixth annual NASCAR Day. Donations will be accepted at the ticket office, located at 600 E. Laburnum Avenue, now through the entire NASCAR season. Additionally, there will be locations throughout the midway where pins will be sold during the upcoming NASCAR weekend at Richmond International Raceway, May 1-2. Half of the proceeds generated from pin sales at America's Premier Short Track will be donated to Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, with the other half benefiting The NASCAR Foundation.
