RIR Celebrating NASCAR Day Friday, May 18, With Complimentary Pace Car Rides

Richmond International Raceway will celebrate the ninth annual NASCAR Day on Friday, May 18, by giving fans extra incentive to share their passion for the sport and make a difference in the lives of children this year. Fans who purchase a NASCAR Day 2012 lapel pin at the track on May 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will receive a complimentary Pace Car ride.

Richmond International Raceway Teams Up With Junior Achievement for NASCAR Day

Richmond International Raceway will serve as a prime location for fans wishing to purchase NASCAR Day pins for the sixth annual NASCAR Day. Donations will be accepted at the ticket office, located at 600 E. Laburnum Avenue, now through the entire NASCAR season. Additionally, there will be locations throughout the midway where pins will be sold during the upcoming NASCAR weekend at Richmond International Raceway, May 1-2. Half of the proceeds generated from pin sales at America's Premier Short Track will be donated to Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, with the other half benefiting The NASCAR Foundation.

Track president Doug Fritz announced today the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will race at America’s Premier Short Track “under the lights” on Thursday, April 28, 2011 to kick off the first NASCAR Tripleheader Weekend in Richmond since 2005.

Richmond International Raceway Teams Up With Henrico County Police Athletic League for NASCAR Day 2010

Richmond International Raceway teams up with the Henrico County Police Athletic League (PAL) to sell NASCAR Day pins for the seventh annual NASCAR Day on May 21. Pins are now available for purchase at Richmond International Raceway’s ticket office, located at 600 E.
