Virginia native Denny Hamlin won the pole for tonight's Circuit City 250 NASCAR Busch Series race with a fast lap of 126.683 mph. It is Hamlin's his first career Busch Series Pole at the .75-mile track and seventh of his career. With this pole victory, Hamlin completes the Richmond "Trifecta," having won a pole at Richmond International Raceway in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup, Busch, and Craftsman Truck Series' competition.
