Fans React To SunTrust Indy Challenge Improvements
"I just want to take a moment and thank you all for listening to the fans. Richmond International Raceway is the most fan friendly track I have ever been to and you never cease to amaze me. Pulling for the extra 50 laps for the IRL race was way above and beyond the call of duty and to get the extra 50 just goes to show how important Richmond International Raceway is to the IRL and to the fans." -- Ray Blackmore, Concord NC "I just wanted to thank the management for lobbying for extra laps for the IndyCar Series race. I attended last year's race with four friends, and it looks like we'll be back again. The hospitality package for the weekend is a great value, and really makes the 4 hours+ drive to Richmond well worth it. -- Matt Kiner, Lewisberry PA "I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for working with the IRL to get another 50 laps of action added to the Richmond IndyCar race. The race is thrilling every year and, although I won’t be able to attend this year, I look forward to visiting the facility in the future. I have heard many positive reviews of the facility and the employees of Richmond International Raceway from many fans. Thanks again for your continued support of the IRL IndyCar Series!!!" -- Paul Dalbey, Champaign IL "I just wanted to send along a ‘Thank You’ to Richmond International Raceway for whatever role you may have played in adding 50 laps the IndyCar race this year. My family and I have attended the ICS/USAC weekend every year and it’s one of our favorite trips and racetrack. Keep up the great work and we look forward to a great event in ’08!" -- Adam Heinzmann, Frederick MD Tickets are on sale now for the open-wheel weekend at Richmond International Raceway, featuring speeds of more than 180 mph!
