NASCAR Nationwide Series Race

Richmond International Raceway kicks off its 2009 season "under the lights" Friday night, May 1, with the Lipton Tea 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. The NASCAR Nationwide Series regulars will battle it out with some NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars on a night of old school short track action. Advance tickets start at just $35 and include both NASCAR Nationwide Series Pole Qualifying and Pole Qualifying for Saturday's Crown Royal Presents The Russ Friedman 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on May 2. Kids 12 and under are free in general admission seats with a ticketed adult on Friday.

The weekend's main event features the Crown Royal Presents The Russ Friedman 400 "under the lights!" All the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will race to the finish to see who will be crowned in victory lane. Saturday's Crown Royal Presents The Russ Friedman 400 tickets are based on availability and will go fast, call now! Rotondo Weirich Showdown USAC National Sprint Cup Series Race

The weekend kicks off Friday, June 26, with IndyCar Series Pole Qualifying and the Rotondo Weirich Showdown USAC National Sprint Car Series race. Tickets for Friday night are only $15. Children 12 and under are admitted free in general admission sections with a ticketed adult both nights.

The ninth annual SunTrust Indy Challenge returns to Richmond on Saturday, June 27 "under the lights." With IndyCar Series drivers hitting speeds of more than 170 mph at the shortest track on the circuit, the night is full of excitement! Don't miss the James River Grounds 100 USAC Silver Crown Series race, preceding the SunTrust Indy Challenge. These open-wheel drivers are the same men and women in the Indianapolis 500! Reserved seats for Saturday are just $35 and general admission tickets are only $30. Children 12 and under are admitted free in general admission sections with a ticketed adult both nights.

Richmond International Raceway's 2008 season finale takes place September 11-12 "under the lights." It starts with the NASCAR Nationwide Series 250 race on Friday, September 5. The NASCAR Nationwide Series regulars will beat and bang their way against some of the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Advance tickets for Friday night's 250 and Pole Qualifying for the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 start at just $35. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.
